International Buddhist Conclave- India- Sarnath & Bodhgaya October- 3, 4 and 5


 Explore International Buddhist Conclave held in Sarnath & Bodhgaya.



The International Buddhist Conclave will be held in Sarnath, Uttar Pradesh on October 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2016 to promote Buddhist destinations in Bodhgaya and Sarnath.

The conclave will include presentations, panel discussion, business meetings between international and domestic tour operators, an exhibition highlighting the Buddhist attractions in India, as well as visits to important Buddhist sites in and around Bodhgaya and Sarnath.   



With a view to showcase and project the Buddhist heritage and pilgrim sites, the ministry of tourism organises International Buddhist Conclave. Earlier, the conclave was organised in New Delhi and Bodhgaya (2004), Nalanda and Bodhgaya (2010), Varanasi and Bodhgaya (2012), and Bodhgaya and Varanasi (2014).
