Buddhism in Orissa - Buddhist Attractions of Odisha – Buddhist Tour – Monastery & Hill Stations

Ratnagiri: The Ratnagiri Hill is one of most extensive ruins and is famous for Pushpagiri monastery. 

Lalitagiri:

The Nandan Kanan National Park: This wildlife park is 20 km far from capital city and is well known for white tiger breeding. Beautifully laid out landscapes, green surroundings, rare animals and birds make this park is to an ideal place to visit.

Langudi: It is a hill stations located in Jajpur district of Odisha have an ancient Buddhist Mahavihara called as Pushpagiri. Langudi has many Stupas cut out from rock likes as Buddha in Samadhi mudra, Sculpture of Goddess Tara, the harmonic umbrella, the Cylin dome.

Motifs: The motifs, also known as Kunjalata and Patralata, represent the process of cultural transfer and adoption of items from Buddhism.
